1st rule of DJing "Don't delay buy today…"

For those of you that know me, you’ll know one thing when it comes to music, I’m a junkie, yup there is a dark force inside me that drives me to buy all those funny black vinyl records and the rarer the better.

Although with age I’m getting better at resting the urge to purchase, but it’s a catch 22 situation; you can guarantee if you don’t buy that rare 7 inch single or that limited DJ promo copy you’ll probably never see it again.

Recently, (the world and his knows of Lily Allen’s now) when I first heard her on Gilles Peterson show it made the hairs on my neck stand up. I was hooked, and I soon found myself on eBay, sure enough copies were available for about £5, BUT I LEFT IT thinking “it’ll be out soon I’ll wait”. HOW STUPID was that…

It takes me back to the first rule of Djing “don’t delay, buy today”.
