Peter Bjorn And John – ‘Young Folks’, I’m currently dancing round the kitchen to this one, I’d call it “The whistling tune of 2006” CD single or the 7 inch or 12 inch singles. Check thier mySpace page

Also loving The Door’s – ‘Peace Frog’ as featured on Hotel Morrison I don’t know why I’ve not found this before now, it’s a real gem of a tune, and in the right place would work on the dance floor.

The Jam – ‘Move on up’ Awesome version of Curtis Mayfield’s original recording. I heard this whilst watching BBC1’s ‘Sorted’ series (whilst watching my tea, honest guv). The soundtrack to this rocks, if it comes out on CD I’ll buy it, and I highly recommend it.

Edgar ‘Jones’ Jones – ‘Soothing Music for Stray Cats’ Edgars got a great 60’s sound, from blues to mod and jazz.

Various – ‘21st Century Liverpool Underground’ this is a great little compilation featuring the Zutons, before they were the Zutons. Lots of great sounds from Liverpool.
