Stumbling across Big Boss Man

21/06/06

I’ve just popped out for a walk around the bock at lunch today and thoughts I’d pop into WHSmiths. Scanning through the magazines I flicked thought a copy of July’s Record Collector.

Much to my surprise the back cover had a full page ad with Newbury’s finest Big Boss Man celebrating the re-issue of Humanise and the release of Party 7 as features on the current Nike Football Television advert.

Blow Up records have reissued the debut Big Boss Man album Humanize which features the Party 7 track, with stickers on the sleeve with reference to the TV ad. If you haven’t seen the ad then you can view it at the Nike Football website

For more Big Boss antics check out the official Big Boss Man website and their mySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/bigbossmanmyspace too.

Here are a few other Big Boss alter-egos and separate individual projects:

Prince Fatty Album.

If you like Hammond Rocksteady & Reggae, then the Prince Fatty album: “The Best of Anvil” is out on ltd vinyl LP containing the Summer Reggae smash “Nina’s Dance”
(I thin Nass and Trev hd something to do with this but I’m not sre…. if they did then they’ve coverted to Rocksteady)
